Gold Desorption Electrolysis and Smelting Technology in Tanzania Gold Processing Project
Gold desorption electrolysis and smelting is the final core link of gold product preparation in the all-slime cyanidation process, which directly determines the purity of finished gold products and the final economic benefit of the mining project. The Tanzania 1200t/d gold mineral processing plant adopts advanced and efficient desorption electrolysis integrated technology and professional gold slime smelting process, realizing efficient separation and high-purity smelting of gold elements, and stably outputting high-value gold finished products for the project.
In the previous separation process of the project, after the cyanidation leaching of ore pulp, the gold elements are fully adsorbed by activated carbon to form gold-bearing carbon. The gold-loaded carbon contains high-purity gold elements, which is the core carrier for gold extraction. Compared with the traditional low-temperature and low-pressure desorption process, the project adopts a high-temperature and high-pressure desorption electrolysis system, which greatly improves the desorption efficiency of gold elements on the carbon surface and shortens the production cycle.
In the desorption stage, the gold-bearing carbon is placed in the closed desorption device. Through the dual action of high temperature, high pressure and special desorption solution, the gold elements adsorbed on the activated carbon are quickly desorbed into the solution to form a high-concentration gold-containing electrolyte. The whole desorption process is closed and automated, with fast desorption speed and thorough desorption effect, which avoids the waste of gold resources caused by incomplete desorption. The regenerated activated carbon can be recycled to the adsorption link, reducing the production cost of the project.
In the electrolysis stage, the high-concentration gold-containing electrolyte is sent to the electrolytic cell. Through the principle of electrolytic deposition, gold ions are continuously deposited on the electrode plate, forming high-purity gold slime. The gold slime has high gold content and few impurity components, which is convenient for subsequent smelting and purification. Finally, through professional drying, smelting, impurity removal and refining processes, high-purity finished gold ingots are produced, meeting the market sales standard of mineral gold.
